Terms of Use

HelpFoundry is a service operated by BS Ideas LLC that lets you create an AI support assistant grounded on your own material — GitHub repositories, uploaded documents and images, website pages and frequently asked questions. You can chat with your assistant yourself, or embed it on your website as a chat bubble for your visitors.

By creating an account or using HelpFoundry in any way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You need an account to use HelpFoundry. You can sign up with an email address and password or continue with Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use the service. The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

HelpFoundry offers a Free plan and a Pro plan, described on our pricing page. The Free plan costs nothing and is limited to a personal assistant with a capped amount of knowledge sources and a standard AI model.

Pro is billed at $47 per month through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

We may change prices, but we will always show the new price before your next renewal so you can cancel first if you prefer.

You keep ownership of everything you add to HelpFoundry — repositories you connect, documents and images you upload, websites you index, and FAQs you write.

You give BS Ideas LLC a limited license to store, process and reproduce that content solely to operate the service, for example to index it so your assistant can answer questions with it. You confirm you have the rights to use and share whatever you add, and you are responsible for whether that material is suitable to show to your website visitors.

Answers from your assistant are generated by an AI model working from the material you provided. They can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong — always verify important information before relying on it.

Nothing the assistant says is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. When your assistant is embedded on your website, the answers it gives to your visitors are based on the knowledge you chose to provide.

• Don't use HelpFoundry for unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing purposes, and don't upload content you have no right to share.
• Don't try to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts.
• Don't attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate caps or access controls.
• Don't resell or rebrand the service as your own product without a separate written agreement with us.

We work hard to keep HelpFoundry reliable, but the service is provided without any promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or remove features over time.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top always shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

You can stop using HelpFoundry at any time and delete the content in your account. If you cancel a Pro subscription, Pro features stop at the end of the period you already paid for.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or the law. If we do, we will explain why when we reasonably can.

Except as expressly stated, HelpFoundry is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BS Ideas LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before that claim arose.
